Protocol employs a borrowing model similar to AAVE's. debtTokens are minted to a user whenever a user borrows assets. Issue is that the amount of debtTokens minted are not scaled, debtToken.balanceOf then scales this unscaled value with interest. Also debtToken.burn tries to burn direct amounts of tokens without scaling.
Whenever a user borrows some assets, the amount of debtTokens minted are 1 to 1, this should be scaled back to the starting position of the index and minted with that amount, though user debt is tracked correctly in user.scaledDebtBalance. debtToken balanceOf also returns minted amount directly scaled with borrow index.

In the end, after interest accrues, if a user wants to repay debt, the user can only burn the initial amount minted due to internal ERC20 balance, so the user will still be left with some amount in user.scaledDebtBalance . Lending pool uses user.scaledDebtBalance to track debt, and so users can never pay this debt.
