`s_hasClaimedSnowman` Mapping Is Set But Never Checked, Enabling Double Claims

Root + Impact

Description

  • The SnowmanAirdrop contract includes a s_hasClaimedSnowman mapping intended to prevent the same address from claiming the airdrop multiple times.

  • The mapping is only written to (s_hasClaimedSnowman[receiver] = true) in claimSnowman() but is never read as a precondition guard. The claimSnowman() function does not check require(!s_hasClaimedSnowman[receiver]) before processing the claim. The mapping is dead code.

Risk

Likelihood:

  • A user who claims successfully can acquire more Snow tokens (via buySnow or earnSnow) and call claimSnowman() again. No guard prevents re-entry.

  • The only check is balanceOf(receiver) > 0, which resets to non-zero after acquiring new tokens.

Impact:

  • Multiple claims result in minting extra NFTs beyond intended allocation, diluting the airdrop distribution.

Proof of Concept

The test demonstrates that after a successful claim, s_hasClaimedSnowman is set to true but this has no protective effect — the function never reads it.
